ICT lesson upload for 5th September.

 ICT uses in teaching and learning process is now integral part of 21st century's classroom setting. Children now a days are given better exposure through ICT integration to the latest curriculum. Although, scenario doesn't seemed so welcoming as parents lack the foundational knowledge of ICT. However, there is rapid progress seen comparing to few years back.

Despite of  limited ICT resource room in schools, children are fond of going to ICT class and love fiddling to computers. Though, my lesson on ICT was not for the kids to fiddle around, but I prepared some simple animation in my slide. Firstly, they were excited to see words sliding one another. Secondly, there was a YouTube video on measurement which made them more curious on how to measure certain things using the standard and non-standard unit. Thirdly, name wheel has further aroused their interest in learning through ICT. They were waiting for their name to spin.

Introduction to non-standard unit was made in the previous class. However, I took them to the ICT laboratory to introduce the standard unit measurement. The result was immensely overwhelming as they have performed their learning activity perfectly. Most of the children had made through their activity very clearly except for one or two.

To further support my post, I tried to attached the video recorded while I was teaching, however, it did not support at all. It has been one week trying to upload video. Finally, I decided to make a post without video, Nonetheless, I managed some photo that was shot during my ICT teaching class and a link for lesson plan prepared in google slide.
